Brian is excellent. However, he is training an apprentice and the apprentice missed a wire connection on one of my units. I personally was the one that caught it by a smell that to me was burning something. I alerted Brian right away before they left (they were on their way out)...he came back right away to check it and sure enough he found a wire that was not connected properly (from the apprentice). Just beware of new ones being trained. Brian needs to look over all of the work because the younger guys are just not as sharp and don't pay attention to every little detail. Hopefully, this apprentice will remember and double check things next time.

Arrived on site. Gave the customer an estimate to install a customer supplied water softener onto existing loop and drain. Customer has not yet purchased the unit, but will contact us when he is ready to proceed. Customer happy.

Performed system maintenance, overall system condition was good. All electrical components and connections were in good shape. All motors in the unit were in good shape and amped in range. Capacitor for fan motor was weak, so customer approved a replacement for new 7.5 mfd capacitor for fan motor. Over all system was in good shape, it is a r22 system. Installed new capacitor and all quoted work is complete.

Upon arrival found system with fan not running. Removed power and found capacitor dead reading zero. Went to test motor with new capacitor and disconnect switch failing to send a leg of power. Found melted. Will provide quote to replace disconnect switch and continue testing. Changed failed burnt disconnect with truck stock. Installed capacitor and tested operation. System back to cooling with no other issues found. Recommend customer consider replacement of system in near future due to age and condition.

Arrived on site and checked in with customer. Proceeded to attic after setting cool on the thermostat. Checked blower wheel, motor, and all connections and found no issues. Got a good temp split and then proceeded to outdoor unit. Found refrigerant levels to be good. Checked amps, capacitors, and contactor and found no issues with any. Cleaned outdoor coil and replaced disconnect. Unit was running at the end of the service call.

Spring maintenance performed on Lennox rooftop package heat pump. Checked electrical and mechanical components, tested motor capacitors and amperage, recorded refrigerant, and measured temperature split. Rinsed off outdoor coil and tested drain line. No discrepancies noted and maintenance is completed.

Found unit in poor condition. Air filters extremely dirty, blower belt broken, and panel for compressor compartment is missing. Called Don and informed of situation. Told him we cannot check system operation without filters, belt and panel being addressed first. Will need to research and quote from office to find panel.

On arrival found ice machine off. Turned on and observed operation. Unit made a batch of ice in 15 minutes. Spoke with bartender, he said unit will be running fine and then will turn off on its own for no apparent reason. Checked machine performance history, unit has been making approx 200 lbs of ice every day in history log. Checked alert history, found multiple various alerts in system with no date codes to know if they are new or old alerts from before cleaning. Cleared alert history and allowed system to continue running. Paused job and will return at the end of the day Returned and checked system operation, unit has been working normally sinc3 I was here. Informed customer that they should call us if it stops again and then we can check for new errors.
